Finally, someone was kind enough to give me a birthday present! :-D
After an unsuccessful attempt to log on to IRC (there’s a Trojan virus on the ISP.. foot, I thought only condoms use that brand name.. turns out there’s a computer virus by that name, too!), I came home to find a black sleeveless lycra t-shirt with a gold star on the chest. The outfit is sooo cool.. I can imagine myself clubbing with it and a pair of tight black pants.. I’m bound to look cool. The only problem is: I have to lose 10lbs before I can squeeze myself into it!!! :-P
It’s really a cruel way of saying ‘you have to lose some weight.. there’s no way I could wear that size XS t-shirt without diet.. I'm no Cindy Crawford! In order to make the giver happy, however, I have to go on a diet and lose 10lbs. Besides, it's the only birthday present I got this year.. I have to really cherish it.. and wear it! ;-)
Oh pleez.. I think it’s just my exhibitionism kicking in!!! ;-D

I love dragons so much you can begin to imagine how I longed to see 'Reign of Fire', but I was totally, absolutely, utterly disappointed when I finally saw it tonight. I’m so bothered I feel the need to write despite my fatigue.
I have never seen in 31 years of my life a worse Americanized movie than Reign of Fire! The story line was without a doubt a moviegoers' nightmare. I wonder who wrote that garbage. That movie is, however, the perfect description of America: they come, they boss everybody around, and they never admit, even if it's plain to the world, that they make mistakes. The same thing can be seen over and over again on the news; Vietnam, Gulf, Afghanistan, and now Iraq. In this movie, Denton Van Zahn came with his entourage to a refugee camp, bossed everybody including the chief, Quinn around, and never showed remorse even when he realized his egomaniac decision caused the death of a lot of people. Does the character ring any bell?
Tony Blair should go watch this movie so that he can learn a thing or two from Quinn, a character played quiet well by Christian Bale. When Denton Van Zahn bossed him around, he stood his ground, and in the end claim victory. It’s obvious Mr. Blair's just letting himself be bossed around by Mr. George W. Bush by repeating the man’s every single outrageous statement and actions. How can a man of his capacity state, in his internationally broadcast speech, that the war against Al Qaeda is a crusade?!? Does he even understand the meaning of the word crusade??? Does he realize that the biggest Moslem population in the world does not share Al Qaeda's extreme view and might be insulted by his speech???
Oh how I long to see a charismatic leader like Gandhi...

I spent almost an hour this morning trying to decide which shirt to wear because I thought I would open a tender ('discuss potential contracts') with expatriates. How wrong a person can be! Not only none of the tender participants are white, most of them were women! Now I feel stupid for wasting so much time. I could have worn nothing and none of those old bats would be interested! :-D
